Neighborhood Cleanup Day

Location: Central and 240 overpass; aka ‘The Other Side of Bellevue’;

Let’s Keep Our Neighborhood Beautiful and Safe!
Join us for another successful Neighborhood Cleanup Day as we work together to make our community shine. This event is part of fulfilling the volunteer hours required by the safety grant we were awarded. We need a total of 108 volunteer hours, and so far, we have achieved 30 hours. Let’s keep the momentum going!

Details:

• Meeting Point: Other Side of Bellevue
• Focus Area: Clean on Central and 240 Underpass
• Supplies Needed: Please bring contractor bags for collecting trash and debris.

Tasks:

• Picking up litter and debris in the designated areas
• Placing “No Dumping” signs to prevent future waste issues
• Submitting 311 alerts for city-responsible areas, particularly near the hotel / wherever illegal dumping occurs

Why You Should Participate:

• Contribute to fulfilling our grant’s volunteer hour requirements
• Help create a cleaner, safer environment for everyone
• Strengthen community bonds and foster a sense of pride in our neighborhood

Additional Information:

• Wear comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes
• Bring gloves, water, and any additional tools you think might be useful
• The last cleanup was a success, and with your help, we can make this one even better!
